Ethereal Labs exists to find out what software looks like when generation, verification and release are one continuous system instead of three disconnected habits.
What we do
We build our own products and take on a small number of outside ones. Each starts as a structured definition rather than a backlog: purpose, users, constraints, decisions, acceptance criteria.
From there the work is mechanical in the good sense — architecture, repository plan, progressive generation, isolated build, diagnostics, verified preview, release. Every step leaves a trace you can audit later.
The lab runs on edge infrastructure with short-lived, resource-limited execution. Secrets never travel to generated code, and no build worker ever sees anything it doesn't need.
Evidence outranks confidence
Compiler output, tests and runtime probes decide whether something shipped. A model's certainty is not a gate.
State is durable
Prompts, decisions, source, builds and releases persist. Nothing important lives only in a chat window.
Nothing is simulated
No fake logins, fake previews, fake billing or fake success. Missing credentials produce an explicit error.
One design language
Every product in the family shares tokens, rhythm and tone, so the lab reads as one hand.

Ethereal Labs is the result of a long-held conviction: that generation, verification and release should be one continuous system with evidence at every gate, not three habits stitched together by hope.
